Anne Mayes retires from Johnson Brothers after 25 years

Anne Mayes has retired after 25 years of service to Johnson Brothers, Lisburn. She retired on the very day she celebrated 25 years.

Acknowledging her service, dedication and loyalty, the directors of Johnson Brothers presented her with a long service watch.

Richard Johnson, financial director, praised Anne and thanked her on behalf of the directors for her contribution to the company. He commented, “Anne joined the company in 1993 and worked in the accounts department, where she was highly respected by all the staff in the department and the company. He also thanked her for all her tireless work and efforts in raising thousands of pounds over the years for MacMillan Cancer and other charities through her fantastic coffee mornings and other events”.

We will all miss Anne and wish her a long and happy retirement

Tania Bailie, Area Fundraising Manager for Northern Ireland, Macmillan Cancer Support, also thanked Anne, commenting, “Anne has been a tremendous supporter and friend of Macmillan Cancer Support. Through her hard work and fundraising efforts, she has raised over £15,000 for our much needed work and her achievement will make a huge difference to help people find the best way through and live life as fully as they can.”
