Johnsons Coffee new corporate partnership with Action Cancer, hits target of 1000 business helping to “Paint the Town Pink”

In 2015, Action Cancer are running a new awareness campaign, Paint The Town Pink. The objective of the ‘Paint The Town Pink’ campaign is to encourage towns, businesses, community groups, schools, friends and families across Northern Ireland to hold a pink themed fundraiser to raise awareness for Action Cancer’s unique breast screening services.

Every year, Action Cancer manages a large campaign to raise funds for the ONLY charity in Northern Ireland providing breast screening for women. For every 1,000 women they screen, an average of five cancers are detected

With the help of local businesses, Action Cancer has delivered 1000 fundraising boxes, filled with materials to encourage and support fundraising events, to local businesses, schools and community groups, with a target of raising £75,000.

Johnsons Coffee are supporting the campaign in many ways including providing complimentary coffee for each of the1,000 fundraising packs, which contains everything for a very pink Coffee party, including a pink tie, scarf, wig, ribbons, table cloth, branded T–shirts, sponsorship forms, letter from Gloria Hunniford who is supporting the campaign, empty belly poster, Z–cards, fundraising tips and testimonials from women who have had a breast cancer detection or have been reassured or supported.

There will also be a raffle for some fantastic prizes, including a 4 door Smart Car.
